Fundraising Auction

On Wednesday, 14th March 2012, the seven part-time students who are graduating next June will be holding an auction of ceramic objects in order to raise funds for their degree show. This will take place upstairs at the Slug and Lettuce, 1, Islington Green, London N1 3HX. It will be open for browsing from 6.30pm and the auction will commence at 8.

It will feature work from Simon Carroll, Walter Keeler, Christie Brown, Duncan Ayscough, Claire Curneen, Carol McNicoll, Haori Tateybayashi, Stephen Dixon, Sun Kim, Christie Brown, Katharine Morling, Tim Andrews, Gareth Mason, Sarah Scampton and Aki Moriuchi – to name but a few!

Harrow at Contemporary Applied Arts

In 2012, Contemporary Applied Arts, the gallery which is located in Percy Street, London W1T 1DD, is mounting an exhibition to celebrate the five decades of the Harrow Course. It begins on the 20th April and will be called: Tradition and Innovation: Five Decades of Harrow Ceramics. There will be a fully illustrated catalogue for sale to accompany the show.

This show is being curated by Tessa Peters and will have work from staff and students – most of which will be for sale. The show will end on Saturday June 9th.

The Final Degree Show!

The final degree show will take place at the Rag Factory in Heneage Street – just off Brick Lane. The private view will be during the evening of the 7th. June 2012 and it will be open until Sunday 10th June at 6pm.

Try to come to the private view and let’s make this an evening to remember!
